Our First Meeting

Our first meeting was held in1966.  That’s 58 years ago. 

Since its inception the Club has raised in excess of $1 million for local, national and international projects and charities and has spent many thousands of hours making a difference to our local, national and international communities.

Our principle:

“In everything we think or say or do……

● Is it the TRUTH?

● Is it FAIR to all concerned?

● Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIP?

● Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

Rotary has been creating connections and making an 

impact for more than a century

Rotary started with the vision of one man — Paul Harris. The Chicago attorney formed the Rotary Club of Chicago on 23 February 1905, so professionals with diverse backgrounds could exchange ideas and form meaningful, lifelong friendships.

Over time, Rotary’s reach and vision gradually extended to humanitarian service. Members have a long track record of addressing challenges in their communities and around the world.
